LET’s talk about glyphosate
Glyphosate, the world’s most widely used herbicide, is the focus of this project. But it’s just the entry point. Because what’s truly at stake is how we grow our food, how we care for the earth, and how we honour the wellbeing of future generations.
Behind the scenes of every meal, a chemical legacy has been quietly building. For decades, communities have been exposed to pesticides without clear consent, and farmers have been pushed into systems that rely on increasing chemical use just to stay afloat. The science is mounting, the stakes are rising and still, the story of how we got here remains largely untold.
That’s where The Invisible Ingredient begins.
Through interviews with farmers, scientists, doctors, economists, youth and indigenous voices, this series uncovers the hidden story of glyphosate – and opens the door to deeper questions about food, health, and regeneration. It’s an invitation to see more clearly what’s shaping our food system, and what’s possible when we work with, rather than against, nature.
But this series is just the beginning.
We’re building toward a bold, high-impact media movement designed to reach millions. From the ground up, we’re creating a social-led campaign powered by recognisable voices, cinematic storytelling, and shareable content designed to ignite urgent public conversation. Its aim is not fear, but agency: to illuminate the systems we’ve inherited, and inspire collective participation in shaping something better.
Farmer’s Footprint works across storytelling, education, and systems change. From sharing case studies about regenerative agriculture in action, to supporting farmers through in-person events and advocacy, our work aims to uphold the land stewards who are building a healthier, more just food system.
This campaign is part of that mission. And your support helps bring it to life.
Can you help us grow this movement?
